The devil is in the detail.

The devil is in the detail..

I had appointment at hairdresser today for haircut. To be honest with you I don’t trust my hair to just anyone. So when I moved to the UK I asked around amongst the friends and came to the great hairdresser who runs business with his wife. They are always busy and hairdresser is about 50 miles from my home. It’s not that far, but to have one hairdresser closer to home would be very convenient as I also have small baby boy.
Every day I walk by a hairdresser, which looks small but cosy. I wanted to try the hairdresser and made an appointment. Today I walked in and saw dust and hair everywhere. It did not make a good impression on me; I wanted get out of there straight away. In this hard economy times, you would think that small businesses would do their best to attract new customers and keep the ones they have. But details such as dust and hair everywhere make very bad impression on customers. How hard can it be to dust off every morning, it will probably take only 5 minutes anyway.

Moreover, they did not even bother to offer me a drink while I was waiting for my turn. When they did cut my hair, it was OK not super and doest look like I have been to hairdresser. This means that I will keep going to my hairdresser in the nearest village which is 50 miles away, but the great result and excellent service is totally worth it.

Michael Kors Fever

Last week I have been shopping with my little sister (now 21! :) ), I showed her "amazing new watch that i HAVE to buy".

My love (read obsession) with Michael Kors watch didn’t come just overnight.. I love to visit various fashion blogs/ sites and tumblr. I have noticed that there is particular watch circulating on those sites.. Its Michael Kors Golden watch, to be honest the design is not that special or particular beautiful.. but because mass of people have made a huge hype around it.. I guess I want to be part of it : ) I know it’s terrible.. And I didn’t realise it until I went shopping with my little sister. Let me tell you about her, she is beautiful, smart and has amazing figure. The thing about her is that she never follows the mass. She wears clothes that suit her best and it doesn’t matter whether its from high street or couture...  yes she is like that: )

So when she , read not infected with this hype, saw this watch she asked me why i liked it so much. As the design wasn’t  special and looked a lot like a Guess watch..  What can i say it was a reality check for me... That was when I realized that I don’t really NEED that watch, however I had already ordered one:)

So what do you think about this watch and hype around it?

Cat Fight: Ciara vs Rihanna

It's not often that celebrities say what they REALLY think of one another.
But pop stars Rihanna and Ciara held nothing back as they embarked on a vicious war of words on Twitter.

Ciara and Rihanna

Ciara and Rihanna started online battle on twitter. source  How come that celebrities actually can freely access their twitter account, where is their PR manager?

Furthermore, who cares who said what? The real question here is , who is hotter? Ciara looks very gorgeous and "natural" and Rihanna looks like a teenager who had too much to drink and too much to prove to people.

Black Swan...

I found this on the blog of Kelly Oxford, I have copied the comments of her husband which he made while watching Black Swan. Do I need to say more? He has allmost exact reaction on this movies as I had.

And the Oscar goes to....

The biggest winners are:
- The King's Speech
- Inception
- Black Swan
- Social Network
- The Fighter

The Kings Speech is a very interesting and bit historical movie. I liked it, it is not "typical" movie we see on screen (read: action, fight and sex). No, this movie actually tells a story. Before the Oscars, many have speculated that the Social Network would be the big winner on the Oscars. I think it so unfair to give any Oscar to this movie; it was such a boring movie. There was no spectacular play by actors and the story itself is not that interesting. The fighter on other hand was also a very interesting and unusual movie. I loved how Christian Bale plaid in the movie. It’s totally worth to watch. Black Swan, I have nothing positive to say about this movie. I barely could watch the half of it and then I gave up.

"Take me Out" or PLEASE take that girl out!!

I probably shouldn't write this, but I cant take it anymore. My sister is huge fan of programme "Take me out", so I have watched that programme with her for a while now. I cant help it but notice that one girl is for a very long time on the show now. Lucy, I wouldn't call her ugly or unattractive, but somehow nobody chooses her. It would be that noticeable if she didn't flirt with the guys that much. So to guys out there: Please take her out!
